I found a deal on Fatwallet.com that gave me some instructions on getting the Asus EEE PC for $180, shipped. This netbook has a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor, a 160GB SATA hard drive, 1GB of ram ( I ordered a 2GB stick for $22 from newegg.com) and includes the 1.3mp webcam in the monitor bezel. Of course it has 3 USB2 ports, VGA out, and 802.11b/g wifi built in. The only drawback I could find was the 9" screen, but it is 1024x600, so that's good enough. Oh, and it's got Windows XP pre-installed. Want to know how to get yours?
I got around to upgrading my phone to the new 2.2 firmware. Details are sketchy about what was changed, so I am throwing out a couple of things I noticed. The good news is Quickpwn for 2.2 has been released and works flawlessly as always. Even though I am an AT&T customer, my phone is unlocked too (I have the original, not 3g)...
It has more megapixels so it must be better right? I don't get what these companies keep doing, but apparently people are buying it. Nikon put out a catalog with the new D3x full frame DSLR that they forgot to announce before the catalog made it to customers mailboxes. I don't care if they announce it or not, it's real, it's going to be expensive (my guess) and it's just overall scary...
Being a gadget freak, I'm one of the first to go looking for the ads that get leaked on sites like bfads.net. I partially take responsibility for the craziness that ensues at 5am (or earlier). If we weren't wild animals at the sight of a $350 laptop or a $25 Guitar Hero Aerosmith Edition game, maybe those deals wouldn't exist. I'm not sure who that makes the bad guy in this argument, but if you are one of the lucky winners on Friday morning, you probably paid a bigger price than just the cash out of your pocket...
It's not the Spanish version, which had the advantage of a real band, but I still give it to these guys for coming up with a good song when they were just screwing around... Admit it, you're bobbing your head just thinking about your Dirty Gurl!
